Annual Exposure

Monthly Exposure
- General Membership Mailing - The HBRA is comprised of approximately 600 member companies.
(Inserts & Ad Copy due by the 1st Friday of the month.)- $150= Company Specific Promotional Insert
- $250 = 5.5" x 8.5" Color Ad on Outside Cover of Mailer
- General Membership Meeting Sponsorship - Attendance is between 100 - 125 people per regular meetings and 200 - 300 for specialty meetings. Attendees are taking advantage of these meetings to get to know one another to network.
- Level I, $250 = Prior to the meeting - Mention in bi-monthly membership e-blasts for that month's meeting with live link to website; At the meeting - Table for tabletop display; Sponsor provided promotional materials inserted into meeting packets; 5" to address the membership; & Logo on table signs.
- Level II, $500 = Same as above plus After the Meeting - Color company ad (8" x 5") placed on outside of following month's General Membership Mailer (hence two months of exposure).
- * Meetings with an asterisk (*) are $350 each given historical turn out. When combining an asterisked meeting with an ad on the monthly mailer, the fee will be $600.
- ** Meetings with a double asterisk (**) are specialty event meetings in which sponsorships run from $250 to $8,000 given the douible exposure to two associations.

- Membership Mailing Labels
- Updated monthly and leased out on a month to month basis (to protect our members, a lease is entered into each time the list is used)
- $150 = 1 month of mailing labels (first month is free for new members)
- Committee & Council Membership (free with the exception of the Remodelor's Council)
- ASSOCIATE'S COUNCIL: Develops various fundraising & networking events geared toward getting all members involved - such as the annual Bluefish game to benefit the Vision Fund and the annual Green Tabletop Event.
- DIRECTORY COMMITTEE: Charged with assessing the style, format and elements of the Association's Membership Directory each year.
- FINANCE COMMITTEE: Ensures that all aspects of the Association's accounting & budgeting are in line; is responsible to the Association for an accounting of all moneys collected and disbursed by the Association; and reports to the Board of Directors.
- AWARDS GALA COMMITTEE: Assists the Vision Fund in its main fundraiser held in December at the Annual Awards Gala. Tasks include: choosing event location, setting a date, working with the EO to finalize the dinner menu options, setting the criteria for and securing sponsorships, door prizes, gift bags and promoting the event to members.
- GOLF COMMITTEE: Charged with planning the Association's annual Golf Classic, usually held in June/July.
- LRA/GOVERNMENT RELATIONS COMMITTEE: Covers matters relating to the housing & building industry at the national, state and local level; and, represents the industry before key government decision-makers on legislative and regulatory issues.
- MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE: Responsible for matters relating to membership development and retention such as new member orientations, & developing recruitment initiatives including national's annual "Commit to Call" effort.
- PROGRAM COMMITTEE: Coordinates educational topics & dynamic speakers for monthly general membership meetings; and writes the monthly newsletter* (*coming soon).
- PROMOTIONS COMMITTEE: Develops publicity & marketing tools for the Association's special projects including the annual Fairfield County Home and Better Living Show held in March/ April and the annual Ramp-a-thon held in October.
- REMODELOR'S COUNCIL ($30 annual fee paid to NAHB): Affiliated with NAHB's "Remodelers Network" and works with the Vision Fund volunteers, representatives from St. Vincent's Special Needs in Trumbull and other agencies on selecting a Ramp-A-Thon project each spring for completion in the fall.
- VISION FUND, INC.: A separate 501 (c) (3) entity of the Association that is in charge of raising money to fund its charity work by promoting its mission to the membership and potential donors. Projects and initiatives include the annual Ramp-A-Thon, scholarship awards and assistance to those injured while serving in the armed forces.
- WEBSITE COMMITTEE: Oversees the website, establishes advertising opportunities and ensures the site is functioning properly and is incorporated into the overall marketing and advertising strategy / business goals of the HBRA.
